Description
  • The ShockWaves Swim Team (SWST) is a competitive swim team with a heavy emphasis on technique, helping each swimmer become proficient in each of the four (4) competitive strokes:
    • Freestyle (American Crawl)
    • Backstroke
    • Breaststroke
    • Butterfly
Registration

There are two (2) parts to the registration, both of which are due before swimmers may participate.
  1. Team Registration - Each family is required to fill out the ShockWaves Registration Form including the $250 family registration fee. Here are the links to the additional documents:
  2. USA Swimming Registration - Each swimmer is required to fill out the 2015 USA Swimming Registration Form (for swimmer's insurance), including the $65 registration and processing fee.
*NOTE - SwimVantage will be sending all of the swimmers' USA Swimming registration forms in together and will be writing one check to Colorado Swimming, Inc., so make your checks payable to: SwimVantage. There will be a small convenience fee added to all payments made using a credit/debit card.

ShockWaves registrations will be accepted on a continuous basis. Download and complete the forms (above) and bring the forms with payment to a practice or mail them to:

Monthly Fees - $100 due on the first of each month

Practices - Swimmers are NOT required to attend all practices. All practices are held at the Pier Point Pool at 3869 S Atchison Way, Aurora, CO 80014

Practices times are:
  • Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays: 7:30pm-9:00pm
  • Tuesdays, Thursdays: 8:00pm-9:00pm
Swim Meets - Swimmers may participate in as many of the meets listed as they choose (Meet schedule is somewhat fluid and my change). Meets have additional fees associated, generally ranging from $25 to $50 depending on the number of participatory events.
